HOW TO PLACE AN ORDER

Select the country you want your order delivered to at the top right of the home page and change your language at the bottom left. To place an order, click on the product of your choice and open the relevant tab to see all the details. Select the size you require and add the item to your shopping bag by clicking the “Add to cart” button. To add the product directly to your cart, click on the “+” symbol that appears when you hover over the item. You can then proceed to checkout by filling in all the address fields and selecting your preferred payment method. Once you have completed your purchase, you will receive an e-mail with your order details and confirmation that your order has been successfully placed.

PAYMENT METHODS

The prices displayed on the website include taxes and VAT. Customers will be informed of any shipping charges in advance via the website. All transactions are processed securely to ensure maximum protection of our customers’ data. Doucal’s currently accepts the following payment methods:

• Credit cards from the following networks: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Bancontact, Google Pay, iDEAL, Maestro, Shop Pay, UnionPay

• PayPal

• Scalapay

*It is not possible to use more than one payment method for the same order.

The amount will be debited upon completion of the purchase, but only after the accuracy of the details entered has been verified and product availability has been confirmed. If your order is cancelled due to incorrect or inconsistent payment details, it will not be possible to reinstate the original order. We therefore recommend that you place a new order, ensuring the accuracy of the details entered or selecting a different payment method. European legislation on Strong Customer Authentication, part of the second Payment Services Directive (PSD2), came into force on 14 September 2019. This legislation requires that for all payments made with a credit or debit card issued by European networks, customers must be redirected to their bank’s page to enter 3D Secure when paying online. 3D Secure is a code received on the mobile phone that authorises the payment transaction. To protect our customers, 3D Secure is also used for credit card purchases on doucals.com.
