DELIVERY OPTIONS, TIMES AND COSTS

All Doucal’s deliveries are handled by DHL.

Deliveries to ITALY:

For deliveries within Italy, the Express-Domestic method is available free of charge.

• Express-Domestic, 1-2 working days: €0

 

Deliveries to EUROPE, THE UNITED KINGDOM AND SWITZERLAND:

For deliveries to Europe, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, you can choose between free Standard delivery or Express delivery at checkout.

• Standard Delivery, 3-6 working days: € 0
• Express Delivery, 1-3 working days: € 30,00

 

Deliveries to the USA

For orders from the USA, the Express - Worldwide delivery method is used, and the delivery charge is always covered by the customer.

• Express - Worldwide, 2-4 working days: $ 45,00

 

We aim to dispatch orders as quickly as possible, usually within 2 working days. Please note that orders are processed from the dispatch warehouse from Monday to Friday, excluding Italian public holidays.

We would like to clarify that we are not responsible for any delays caused by payment authorisation and customs clearance procedures. Deliveries to islands or remote areas may be delayed.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with the tracking number so you can monitor the progress of your order.

HOW DO I TRACK MY ORDER?

You can check the status of your order using the tracking number contained in the dispatch email you received. All you need to do is log on to the DHL website and enter the tracking number in the “Track Your Shipment” section.

It is not possible to enter more than one delivery address for the same order.

HOW CAN I CHANGE THE DELIVERY ADDRESS OR DATE? 

Prior to dispatch, the delivery address or any incorrect information can be changed by our in-house staff once the customer has notified our customer care team. After dispatch, the address can be changed up to the day before delivery thanks  to DHL’s On Demand Delivery service. The courier will notify you by e-mail or text message of the delivery date and location. Using the link provided, you can change the address or date, or request that the parcel be left with a neighbour. This service is available for all deliveries from doucals.com. Alternatively, you can contact DHL by phone by calling the DHL centre in your country. 

SIGNATURE UPON DELIVERY 

The recipient is required to sign for delivery. Please note that in order to comply with social distancing regulations for the containment of Covid-19, this practice may not be carried out.

CUSTOMS DUTIES AND TAXES ON DELIVERY

Doucal’s delivers on a DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) basis for orders destined for the European Union, the USA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland. Applicable taxes and customs duties are included in the final purchase price and there are no additional charges on delivery. For other countries, customs charges are the responsibility of the customer (DDU - Delivered Duty Unpaid). The amount may vary depending on the destination country and will be applied upon the arrival of the goods. We cannot predict the amount of taxes and customs duties payable, so please check before placing your order. 

DELIVERY INSURANCE

Deliveries from doucals.com are not insured. The signature required by the carrier serves as proof of delivery.

WHAT DOES THE GOGREEN LOGO ON MY DELIVERY MEAN?

Doucal’s participates in DHL’s GoGreen project, which offsets carbon emissions from deliveries by investing in climate protection initiatives. All orders placed on doucals.com will display the GoGreen logo, showing that the package was delivered with zero impact on the environment.
